How to Play It:
A plateau exists from 100 to 150 yards from the green that provides an excellent landing area for your second shot. A 240 yard tee shot from the blue tees, followed by a 175 yard uphill second shot, will leave you with approximately 120 yards into a large green protected by two bunkers located to the right of the green. An aggressive player that chooses to play a shot beyond the plateau will run the risk of catching the sharply right to left sloped fairway that will direct shots towards the lateral hazard to the left of this fairway.
Measuring 32 yards in depth, club selection is critical on your approach shot to this green, as one may have a two to three-club difference between a front and back hole location. Don’t leave your approach shot above the hole on a front hole location or you may have a difficult two-putt.
